We leave from Fethiye for the journey by road approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive to Kaş where you will have about 30 minutes of free time for a coffee break. We will then transfer you to Üçağız where the boat trip starts with a road journey of approximately 30–45 minutes.The boat returns to the starting point at around 17:30. Afterwards we drive back to Kaş and continue the journey to our resort in Fethiye arriving at approximately 19:30–20:00hrs..The boat trip programme is below ;

Üçağız — Starting Point

Most Kekova boat tours begin from this small fishing village. The harbor area is surrounded by Lycian sarcophagi and the famous sea-level Lycian tomb in the village center is one of the best photo spots. Üçağız

Sunken City (Dolchiste)

This is the most impressive stop of the tour. The ruins of the ancient city of Dolchiste, submerged after earthquakes in the 2nd century, can still be clearly seen beneath the shallow turquoise water. Stone staircases, walls, and underwater structures create the feeling of an open-air museum. Swimming and diving are prohibited in this protected area visitors can only observe the ruins from the boat.

Simena Castle — Kaleköy

Kaleköy can only be reached by boat. A short 10-minute uphill walk leads to the castle, which is home to one of the world’s smallest ancient theaters, with a capacity of about 300 people. From the top, visitors enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Kekova Island and the Sunken City. In the village, local women sell traditional gözleme and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Tersane Bay

Located on the southern coast of Kekova Island, this sheltered bay contains the remains of an ancient shipyard. Boat tours usually stop here for a swimming break. Beneath the crystal-clear water, visitors may notice ancient walls and fragments of amphorae.

Aquarium Bay

Named after its exceptionally clear water, this bay is one of the best places for swimming and snorkeling in the Kekova region. Most boat tours stop here for lunch and a long swimming break. The vivid turquoise water gives the bay its “Aquarium” nickname.

Additional Transfer Information
